Community Partners, Strafford County’s premier behavioral health & developmental services provider, links people to the long-term supports and services they need to a live a full life in this community. Our nonprofit agency emphasizes delivery of quality social services to the people who need them. In order to do that we need employees who want to be proud of the work they do every day. 


Community Partners has Direct Support Professionals (DSP) positions available in our Residential Services department. We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated team players to provide valuable care to individuals in the community. As a DSP for Residential Services, you will provide ongoing support, guidance, and role modeling to promote independence. You will explore community resources to find person-centered, meaningful activities in the community as well as employment and/or volunteer opportunities for clients.

Hours are typically Monday – Friday; 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM; 30 hour/week as well as a generous benefit package including paid time off, health and dental insurance, retirement planning and opportunities for growth within the agency. Full-Time (40-hours/week) and part-time (21-hours/week) positions are also available.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalency required. One year of residential service experience is preferred.

As travel is a requirement of this position, candidate must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, proof of adequate vehicle liability coverage, and reliable transportation.

All candidates must pass a background check which includes criminal and driving records.
