Addiction Medicine Nurse (RN)

Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc., one of the largest providers of community-based behavioral health services in New Hampshire, is seeking a full-time RN for the substance use disorders treatment program, CHOICES.  CHOICES provides medication assisted treatment, therapy and integrated care with a talented multi-disciplinary team treating individuals with substance use disorders.

As the CHOICES nurse, your primary responsibilities will be to assess client needs, monitor detoxification symptoms and support the delivery of services offered by the CHOICES clinical staff. 


  • Gather patient data to support accurate diagnose of substance use disorder(s)
  • Support the Medical Director in delivering Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT)
  • Collaborate with the CHOICES professional staff to discuss treatment plans and client progress in treatment
  • Work collaboratively with the medical provider on the Mobile Crisis Team and provide nursing support as needed
  • Maintain regular daytime office hours, approximately 40 hours per week
  • Active New Hampshire RN license
  • Excellent communication skills and an interest in behavioral health
  • Previous work with substance use disorders a plus
