The Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire is a non-profit organization, incorporated in 1904, with the mission to protect, rescue & adopt animals to the public. The ARL receives no federal, state or United Way funds for support and is solely dependent upon fundraising events, private donations, and program fees to support its cause. The organization is based in Bedford, New Hampshire and helps countless animals and people each year through its programs. 


The Animal Rescue League of NH (ARLNH) is looking for a full-time Adoption Counselor. Adoption counselors are responsible for making successful adoption matches and for providing education to our patrons. Adoption Counselors have regular interactions with clients in person, over the phone, and through email communications, and assist with a variety of customer needs. A portion of the Adoption Counselor position also includes maintaining a clean facility. Adoption Counselors will work directly with the animals through cleaning, care, enrichment, and adoption processes. Ideal candidates for this position will have professional experience in customer relations. Applicants that are proficient with animal care and handling are desired. This full-time position is 40 hours per week. Schedule will include one weekend day each week and some holidays. Starting pay is $10.50 per hour with benefits.
