Housing Subsidy Coordinator

Housing Subsidy Coordinator

The Housing Subsidy Coordinator reports directly to the Program Manager and provides support to the Housing Subsidy Program. You will be responsible for assisting and screening applicants for admission, assisting with scheduling and in-office paperwork, coordinating verification of eligibility requirements and maintaining financial documentation, ensuring compliance with required regulations, monitoring quality of resident files and progress, assisting with apartment inspections, overseeing and facilitating entrances and exits from the program, and communicating with case managers to assure coordination of services.

Bachelor’s degree in human service field required.  Must possess a valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation.  HUD Housing certification preferred.

Good communication skills and the ability to understand verbal and written instructions necessary as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.  Must be aware of and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
