Spaulding Youth Center, located on a spacious campus in Northfield, NH, is a nonprofit dedicated to improving and enriching the lives of emotionally and/or intellectually challenged children, youth and their families. The person in this position is responsible for creating a program and learning environment that provides specialized instruction for students with disabilities, such that the students benefit from the general education curriculum to the greatest extent possible. Provides instruction to assigned students implementing IEPs. Prepares academic materials for students following approved curricula. Special education case management including preparation of IEPs, reports, assessment, and leading team meetings. Full time week-day year round position working in a small classroom environment with educationally and behaviorally challenged students. 

Requirements:

NH Special Education Certification K-12 required. Candidates should be familiar with research base teaching methods and be team-oriented, flexible and creative. Experience with Elementary-Middle School aged students with emotional disabilities preferred.
