Housing Accountant

Community Action Program Belknap-Merrimack Counties

Community Action Program Belknap-Merrimack Counties, Inc. is a non-profit organizaiton dedicated to helping meet the needs of individuals, families and elderly statewide and in particular Merrimack and Belknap Counties. 

Full-time, 37.5 hours a week, position to provide financial support of the elderly and family housing programs. This support includes financial reporting, accounts receivable and accounts payable, general ledger account review, bank reconciliations, filing, assisting with audit preparation for 11 separate housing corporations and providing back-up for processing Agency accounts receivable and payables when necessary.  Minimum of two-year associate in accounting or business degree or equivalent work experience is required.  Knowledge of HUD and NHHFA requirements will be helpful.  Computer application, data entry, QuickBooks and Excel experience is required.  Individual must have strong interpersonal skills, be self-disciplined, dependable and organized.  Salary range:  $24,860 - $36,966, with excellent benefits.
