Marketing and PR Coordinator

NH Bar Association

The NH Bar Association is a statewide professional association that supports members of the legal profession and their service to the public and justice system. The NHBA is a unified bar association, meaning that bar association membership is mandatory for all those licensed to practice law in the State of New Hampshire. In addition to providing an array of services and benefits to its members, the NH Bar Association facilitates open and continuing dialogue among lawyers, the courts and other justice system stakeholders while acting as a resource for all those interested in advancing a just society.

The Bar Association also works to increase access to justice in New Hampshire through its support of the NHBA Pro Bono Referral Program, which matches qualified unrepresented parties with volunteer lawyers in a variety of cases, and its relationship with the NH Bar Foundation. 


The Marketing and PR coordinator is responsible for implementing day to day communications and branding activities in support of the Association.  This role is responsible for various functions in including print, digital and social media marketing, advertising and promotions, communications and public relations, and database marketing. We are looking for a strategic thinker that can work independently and as part of a team to produce results.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • 3 or more years related professional work experience with demonstrated skills in copywriting, editing, SEO, social media and CRM
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using various marketing tools and programs (Hootsuite, Constant Contact, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills and the ability to work with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Project management skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with graphic and design programs helpful
Responsibilities:

With guidance from the Director of Marketing and Strategic Communications and in conjunction with the Marketing and Communications team, the Marketing and PR Coordinator will:

  • Create and coordinate distribution of marketing content in a multichannel environment (direct mail, website, social media, etc.)
  • Function as liaison between internal and external partners and marketing & communications team to facilitate projects and ensure deadlines and requirements are met
  • Maintain marketing calendar, as well as organize and manage advertising and print production 
  • Identify opportunities and manage NHBA presence on social media sites and coordinate staff contributions
  • Track and report marketing metrics
