SSVF Coordinator

Southwestern Community Services is seeking an enthusiastic, highly organized professional to join the Housing Stabilization Services program. This is an hourly position located in the Claremont office that reports to the Administrative & Stabilization Manager. The SSVF Coordinator provides outreach, supportive services, and appropriate supportive housing for Veteran individuals and families; develops programs and resources and formulate case plans that promote moving towards housing stability and self-sufficiency; and ensures the safety of all participants while in the program.

Requirements:

• Veterans status preferred
• Associates Degree
• Bachelors Degree preferred
• Or equivalent in education and experience
• Human Services experience
• Some Management or Supervisory experience 
• Experience with disabilities helpful
• Valid NH Driver’s license and vehicle with liability insurance

Responsibilities:

The Supportive Services for Veteran Families Coordinator facilitates the rapid re-housing of homeless Veteran families and works to prevent homelessness for those at imminent risk due to a housing crisis. The role of the SSVF Coordinator is to develop client-driven housing stabilization plans that promote housing stability and self-sufficiency by offering a range of supportive services based on each families specific needs.
