West Central Behavioral Health is looking to hire a clinical therapist for our Lebanon Children's location. West Central is the nonprofit community mental health care provider for Sullivan County and the Upper Valley, ensuring access to advanced counseling, treatment, and support for people of all ages, regardless of their ability to pay.

As a therapist on your team, you will provide individual, family and group therapy for children from a broad range of ages and presenting diagnoses. Come work as a member of a cohesive, multidisciplinary team.  Current openings in both Lebanon, NH and Claremont, NH.


General Requirements:
•Master's Degree in mental health discipline
•Prefer eligibility for licensure by the State of New Hampshire
•Experience working with children in a mental health field

Basic Responsibilities:
•Following current practice guidelines, provide brief psychotherapy to children and/or families, as caseload assignments vary. This process includes intake and evaluation, collaboration and mobilization of community resources, and provision of individual and group therapy sessions.
•Assist clients to gain insight, define goals, and plan action to achieve effective personal, social, educational, and vocational development and adjustment.
•Manage case referrals and assignments, coordinating client care needs with other team members to ensure effective and optimal care.
•Complete all documentation and notes on client progress shortly after each visit.
•Follow through with parents, teachers, referring physicians or agencies as needed in a timely way to ensure optimal client care coordination.
•Regularly attend and participate in Team and Staff meetings. Function as a treatment team member and contribute to team and site program decision-making.
•Provide excellent customer service, both internal and externally at a quality level that meets or exceeds standards set forth by WCBH.
