Opportunity exists for a professional, motivated, enthusiastic and creative thinker.  As the Billing and Collection Representative, you will be responsible for billing daily mental health charges and working with insurance companies to resolve outstanding unpaid claims.

Acting as a liaison between insurance carriers, patients and clinical staff, responsibilities will include maintaining daily charges and submitting to insurance carriers, reviewing EOBs to ensure proper payment and adjustments received, identifying and “working” denied claims, rebilling/resubmitting or appealing denied claims and entering and updating patient demographic and insurance information into Practice Management based on findings. 

Minimum of 2 years medical billing experience including involvement with EHR, Practice Management and Microsoft Office required.  Must possess knowledge of and ability to research ICD-10 CPT and HCPCS codes.  Must be able to follow all HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines and be able to work efficiently and accurately with minimum supervision.
