Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)-Respite

We are presently seeking LPNs to join our staff.  The clinic provides inpatient mental health, social work and addictions treatment to patients who present with urgent/chronic psychosocial conditions, change in mental status and/or functional decline. Duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

·         Accurately collects data on patients.

·         Administer prescribed medications.

·         Document care accurately.

·         Demonstrate the ability to vary the order and sequence of assignments based on the patient's condition.

·         Recognize and respond appropriately to emergency situations.

·         Perform core and practice-specific competencies as listed on the skills/competency checklist.

Graduation from a state approved school of practical nursing with a minimum of 2-3 years recent (within last 5 years) experience addiction and mental health issues is required, as well as proven ability to provide excellence in nursing care.  Candidates must also have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance, reliable transportation, and current CPR certification.  The ability to cope with physical, psychological, social, and spiritual factors that may influence patient/family health status.
